Black Listed - Cheap Mortgage Deals

The term Black list is slightly misleading. There is no Black List that credit reference agencies look at to decide whether you will be successful in gaining credit from a lender. All your credit history will be stored on a database by credit reference companies such as Experian or Equifax.

A lender will check these to find out your credit status. If you apply for a store card or credit from a higher purchase company, someone will have checked to see that you are able to repay your debts. You may find that if you have applied for too much credit in a short space of time, you may well be refused credit but not 'Black listed' If you have a severe credit history this will have been recorded on your personal file and accessed when required. A severe credit history is one that includes CCJ's, Bankruptcy, IVA's or Arrears.

Most sub prime lenders will still lend on this , however, the interest rate will be higer than for a standard mortgage until your credit rating is improved. Our Independent brokers who are Sub Prime Lenders are able to help applicants with poor credit ratings.
